چکیده
The electro-Fenton (EF) process is a powerful electrochemical advanced oxidation process. Its development has progressed over the past three decades as clean and effective technique for wastewater treatment. Even though conventional EF been shown to be efficient degradation/mineralization of toxic and/or persistent organic pollutants; it still suffers from some downsides industrial-scale development. Recently, research focused on improving its effectiveness relevance, mainly by modifying certain operating parameters; improvements in electrode material reactor configuration, well coupling with other treatment methods. Therefore, this review evaluates current state presents most recent advances such 3D-EF, chelate-EF, self-powered EF, pulsed bio-EF, sono-EF, sulfite-EF, pyrite-EF, ferrate-EF addition emerging applications like disinfection, generation value-added products, removal pollutants water. suitability different modified or hybrid-EF processes discussed based their performance H2O2 generation, degradation kinetics, mineralization efficiency cost effectiveness. This article intended comprehensive, critical general interest, covering developments aim providing method polluted biorecalcitrant pollutants.

Quantum memories: emerging applications and recent advances
Quantum light-matter interfaces are at the heart of photonic quantum technologies. Quantum memories for photons, where non-classical states of photons are mapped onto stationary matter states and preserved for subsequent retrieval, are technical realizations enabled by exquisite control over interactions between light and matter. The ability of quantum memories to synchronize probabilistic even...
